Maps & About Kinabalu Park

Kinabalu Park

Now proclaimed a World Heritage Site, covers an area of 754sq.km and possesses the highest mountain in South East Asia. The park is rife with exotic plants, birds and insects, with new species being discovered each year. A visit to the Exhibit Center and Mountain Garden reveal some of Mother Nature’s miracles.

At 0800hrs, we will pick you up from your hotel and depart by road for the park, traversing the Crocker Range with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. There will be a brief stop at a native market where you can browse through the freshly picked local fruits, vegetables, flowers and beautiful handicrafts, providing you with the perfect opportunity to pick up a souvenir. At the Park, daily guided walks are scheduled, ideal for those who would rather refrain from exploring the various marked trails on their own. We will enjoy lunch at the park before proceeding to Poring Hot Springs, approximitely a 1hr drive away.

Poring Hot Springs

lies on the southern boundary of the park. Open-air bathtubs are fed by sulphurous underground springs, offering gentle relief for tired muscles, and believed by many to have therapeutic properties. For those with energy to spare, there’s a canopy walkway through the lowland rain forest. After that, you are free to explore or relax at your own leisure before being transported back to Kota Kinabalu city center.

This trip is suitable for family as well as nature lover, a great day trip for all
